My 5 Best Pieces...So Far

This piece is an ad campaign for rap artist Jay Z and his album, The Blueprint 3, being offered in eco-friendly packaging. I would like to pursue a career in advertising and this project was really my first foray into that field. This piece is one of my favorites because of the color palette and the tagline that I used. Overall, I just wanted to present the element of the Earth, along with maintaining the aesthetic of the original album artwork, which is why the three rectangles are so prevalent.

This piece is a poster from an ad campaign for the Museum of Design Atlanta. The poster was designed for the World AIDS Day event that was being held at MODA. I used a clean, minimalist aesthetic to capture the feel of MODA (i.e. the cube) but I added the positive symbol to tie back in to what World AIDS Day is about.

This logo is for a conceptual food truck called The Hangover. This food truck specializes in breakfast foods and alcoholic beverages, as this truck is purely conceptual so I didn't worry about laws and regulations dealing with food trucks serving alcohol. I feel like the logo captures the vintage and fun aesthetic I was going for; basically I wanted The Hangover to feel like a 1950s diner on wheels.

This advertisement was done for CNN as way to commemorate the 9/11 event. Overall, I feel like the clock was a clever approach to addressing 9/11 and I really wanted my ad to convey a since of healing.

This ad was done for the Ad Council's campaign for Men's Preventive Health. I feel like the topic of Men's Health is one that flies under the radar, since most men don't care to acknowledge their health problems. One health issue in particular, Prostate Cancer, is one that I clearly addressed here with the presence of the glove. I wanted the ad to be somewhat humorous but at the same time it gives friendly advice.
